Maybe the reason why the symbiote bonded so quickly and deep with Eddie in the movie was because they first bonded with Maria: Maria, whom Eddie respected and helped and treated her like the human being she deserved to be. Like an individual. And that’s what Venom wanted and craved so much.
Does anyone remember a post circulating back in April about an LGBTQ bookstore in Ann Arbor? They posted a status on Facebook about how they didn’t have any books sales that day?
The post circulated tumblr for a couple of days and their Facebook page was swarmed with likes and support, suddenly they had more online orders than they ever had before. They announced that had roughly 700 online orders with only a staff of three people and a dog to fill them, and even with the deluge of orders they would still be struggling to stay open.
Unfortunately, that’s how the story is winding up for them. They recently announced that they would be closing and I thought it’d be nice to send them off with one last hoorah!

Okay, one last thing, I swear: Shiro wants to see Lance’s face again and asks if he can open up more, to which Lance immediately shakes his head and lets out a sound of protest. But Shiro’s fingers are already digging into his hood to stretch it out more and suddenly his nose appears, then his cheeks. Shiro smiles seeing how red they are, then playfully says he’s almost there and Lance grips his wrists. He starts to see Lance’s cute brown curls, inch by inch, and then—his eyelashes. Shiro sees how his eyes are scrunched shut, but finally, he slides the hood all the way back to reveal his head full of hair. His hands return to feel Lance’s warm cheeks and tells him to open his eyes. Lance still hesitates but Shiro tries again. It takes a moment but then he watches Lance’s eyes flutter open, and they both smile bashfully. Shiro immediately leans in again and places gentle kisses all over Lance’s face—and, of course, his lips. They become the universe’s most adorable couple.

I’m Arie I guess and in the 5 months that I’ve been working retail in one of the busiest locations in town, I’ve experienced so much sexual harassment & many actual assaults. Last month, there were 4 major incidents (one that resulted in an arrest on the property, which my workplace is taking to court) within 2 weeks. Besides being very afraid and piling new trauma on top of my cptsd, the work itself has become detrimental to my physical health on account of my disability.
Tldr: I experience constant sexual harassment at work, I am unsafe every day that I work, and my job is detrimental to my mental & physical disabilities. I need help getting a laptop both to learn things I need to qualify for a safer, healthier job, and to actually be able to apply for jobs.
To be extra clear, I need help to be able to do it in the shortest amount of time possible, not for it to be bought for me!

Tbh the best thing about Venom (2018) is that Eddie looks like complete shit the entire time. I kept waiting for the inevitable moment in all superhero movies where the guy rips off his shirt and everyone gets a minute and a half to ogle him until the plot resumes but, no, Eddie spends the entirety of the movie in the one gray hoodie drenched in sweat and looking 3.1 seconds from death. No unnecessary shirtless fight scene or shower scene. Just Tom Hardy looking like garbage and talking to himself for almost 2 hours. Poetic cimena.
